Hi, I’m Dr. Audrey Bethke.
My last name is pronounced b EH th - k ee, like the girl's name Beth and then the word key, or you can call me Dr. Audrey.
As a proud mother to two teenagers, I know firsthand that parenthood is a blend of magic, joys, and challenges. Because I understand this journey, I recognize that seeking an assessment is a significant—and sometimes intimidating—step. It is common to feel this way, even though the ultimate goal is to provide help and clarity.
I offer a boutique experience where my full professional expertise is applied to every interaction, from our first phone call to the delivery of your results. By personally conducting every aspect of the assessment from start to finish, I am able to provide a level of care that is as thorough as it is compassionate. My priority is to ensure that both you and your child feel deeply understood, supported, and encouraged throughout our time together.
If you’ve been wondering if an assessment is the right next step, let’s find out together. I offer a complimentary phone consultation to demystify the process and help us decide if we are a good fit. I am passionate about providing affirming, customized, and evidence-based assessments, and I would consider it an honor to assist you and your child on your journey.

A Bay Area native, I feel fortunate to have received world-class training and mentorship throughout my career.
I earned my undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and my doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program.
My clinical foundation was built during my internship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, where I focused on both assessment and psychotherapy. Seeking a deeper specialization, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Neuropsychology at Children’s Hospital Oakland, focusing exclusively on the neuropsychological assessment of infants, children, and adolescents.
Licensed since 2006, I have dedicated my career to the field of assessment, serving families from diverse backgrounds across schools, clinics, and hospitals in San Francisco and Marin. A member of multiple professional organizations, I remain committed to the latest evidence-based practices through ongoing professional development in pediatric neuropsychology.
